The Character Factory Released by epic software group

June 6-12, 1997 - Houston, Texas - The epic software group in the Woodlands is sending ad agencies demonstration disk of some animated ideas for new media campaigns. That's new media: CD-ROMS, screen savers, interactive kiosks, electronic catalogs.

The disk, called The Character Factory, shows off ten animated characters created by epic. It's available in PC and Mac form. Epic President Vic Cherubini says the group created the disk to show the capabilities of the Woodlands-based software company. They hope they've dreamed up the next Jolly Green Giant or California Raisin.

Characters in the Character Factory include Rodney Dangerbulb, a light bulb who gets no respect.
