The Way Home Project - Fund Raising Video

Overview

"The Way Home" project is veteran’s memorial dedicated to recognizing and acknowledging the sacrifices of all who have served in our military.  The focal point of this memorial is a large life-size sculpture depicting PFC Cory Kosters and PFC Zachary Endsley. Cory graduated from the Woodlands High School and was Killed in action in Iraq in March of 2007.Zachary graduated from Oak Ridge High School and was killed in action in Iraq in July of 2007.

A local campaign headed up by Bill Wingo was launched in 2008 to raise the $600,000 needed to build the memorial.  Bill turned to epic and requested we create a video for the purpose of telling the story of the memorial, and in the process, raise funds to build it.  epic solicited in-kind donations from Rich Ledden (writer), and Davide Klien (voice artist) to help with the project.

The funds were raised, and in 2014, The Way Home sculpture was unveiled on Memorial day in Town Green Park in The Woodlands, TX.
