PHA’s Champ

Overview

Pulmonary Hypertension (PH) is a rare blood vessel disorder of the lung in which the pressure in the pulmonary artery (the blood vessel that leads from the heart to the lungs) rises above normal levels and may become life threatening. While there is currently no cure for PH, recent data indicate that the length of survival is continuing to improve, with some patients able to manage the disorder for 15 to 20 years or longer. Epic has worked closely with the PH Association since 2001.  One project we are most proud of was the development of a character to help them launch a "Fun" raising program designed to help volunteers organize successful fund raising events. Check out "Champ", the loveable bear mascot for the PHA organization.
