Tarpon Systems, Inc.  has a patented production platform for offshore oil and gas field development. The system is a cost-effective alternative to traditional fixed, multi-leg platforms and other minimal systems. Low construction costs minimize capital investment. Rapid construction and installation provide early cash flow. The patented system is composed of an underwater anchor-pile and cable guying assembly that supports a site-specific designed well protector caisson, boat landing, platform and related production equipment. It can support a single well, or up to six wells. 

The company traditionally used physical 3D models of their platforms at trade shows to showcase specific features and benefits of their system.  Unless you were at the trade show and can see the physical model, it was difficult to visualize just how innovative their offshore platform is.
