When it comes to residential or commercial design, homeowners, builders, and businesses turn to Westbrook Designs for everything from concept to completion. Wally Westbrook has been in the building industry for over 30 years and has seen just about everything. What makes Westbrook Designs unique is a powerful software program he uses that ACTUALLY allows his clients to see a concept come to life in 3D.
His slogan is "Know before you go" Wally was also the owner of Westbrook Building Company, a premier building company of estate homes in The Woodlands. He has both the building experience and the design experience required for success. The combination of real world construction experience, powerful 3D software, and his creative skills allows him to design whatever needs to be designed while keeping costs in perspective.
Westbrook Designs needed a web site that would showcase his design work, as well as a video to help prospective clients get learn more about his design philosophy directly from Wally.

This 108' motor yacht carries a great deal of boating history. Originally, the boat was owned by Ogden Phipps, a famous horse breeder and tennis champ who named her Buckpasser after one of his most cherished thoroughbreds. The yacht was designed by the famed naval architect Jack Hargrave, who began working with Burger Boats in 1957.

In 1986 Frances Langford Evinrude, the glamorous singer and entertainer acquired CHANTICLEER. Ms. Langford appeared alongside the likes of James Cagney, Bob Hope, Perry Como, Don Ameche, Jackie Gleason, and other bold name stars. She is most famous for the song "I'm in the Mood for Love" , which was written and popularized by her. Later in life she married Ralph Evinrude, the outboard motor tycoon.

In 2009 CHANTICLEER was acquired by Martin and Lisa Sutter. CHANTICLEER's hailing port is Harbor Springs, MI, however she spends most of her year in the Caribbean where she is based at Virgin Gorda, North Sound, British Virgin Islands. The Sutter's had the CHANTICLEER photographed by the renowned yacht photographer Niel Rabinowitz and they wanted a web site that would do honor to its history and showcase the exquisite photographs taken by Mr. Rabinowitz.

The Statistics Department at Texas A&M University is the third largest in the U.S. It has a history and tradition of graduate education in statistics that dates back to 1963. It has many internationally recognized faculty, including Assistant Professor Alan Dabney who in 2008 had a vision. Dr. Dabney wanted to find a way to make statistics education fun and easier to understand.

Simply filming an instructor in front of white board giving a lecture was not what he had in mind. He wanted to create a dynamic web based application that included high quality video lessons, interactive games, a quiz and other tips, tools and techniques that both high school and college students would find helpful.

In 1995 McKay Everett, 12, was taken from his Conroe, Texas home, held for ransom, and then murdered by a trusted neighbor and friend. The neighbor, Hilton Crawford - "Uncle Hilty", lead police to his body in a in a remote Louisiana swamp. Crawford was convicted and sentenced to death for the boy's murder.
Paulette Everett, McKay's mom, said the abduction and murder created "a gigantic void" in her life. Paulette Everett, was a second grade teacher and she was determined to fill the void by doing everything she could to prevent abductions of other children.

She started The McKay Foundation so that our boys and girls receive age-appropriate, nonthreatening education. Her mission is and remains to educate children about adults who they may know and trust, and the fine line between trust and a dangerous situation. The challenge - "How do we explain to the boys and girls that someone they love could harm them?"

Tarpon Systems, Inc. has a patented production platform for offshore oil and gas field development. The system is a cost-effective alternative to traditional fixed, multi-leg platforms and other minimal systems. Low construction costs minimize capital investment. Rapid construction and installation provide early cash flow. The patented system is composed of an underwater anchor-pile and cable guying assembly that supports a site-specific designed well protector caisson, boat landing, platform and related production equipment. It can support a single well, or up to six wells.
The company traditionally used physical 3D models of their platforms at trade shows to showcase specific features and benefits of their system. Unless you were at the trade show and can see the physical model, it was difficult to visualize just how innovative their offshore platform is.

Founded in 1937, The RectorSeal Corporation is a leading manufacturer of chemical specialty sealants and other related products designed for professional tradesmen. These products are distributed exclusively through an extensive wholesale distribution network serving the plumbing, industrial, HVAC-Refrigeration, construction, electrical, and hardware markets.

The company sells over 170 different products including thread sealants, firestopping sealants, plastic pipe cements, anti-seize compounds, fluxes, lubricants, chemical cleaners, duct sealants, leak locators and other specialized products.

Most of these products were developed by RectorSeal, but some were added to the line through a number of company acquisitions. The challenge here was to integrate these products under one corporate umbrella and unify the brand. Each product carries with it, sales and technical information, Material Product Data Sheets (MSDS), installation guidelines, building specifications, and some have videos and multimedia presentations.

Developing a web site that could be easily updated and administered by RectorSeal and hosting it externally were the primary goals at the outset of the project.

Their technology allows bits to drill faster, stay in longer, and lowers the cost-per-foot drilled.
In 2007 the company developed a new technology designed to increase the life of a drill bit. Max Lifetm is a patent-pending technology with weld pads in between the heel teeth instead of tungsten carbide inserts. This innovation prevents cuttings from wearing into the cone steel. The company had developed a PowerPoint presentation to demonstrate the key features and benefits of Max Life, but after viewing it, they felt that the presentation would be more effective if it were an animated video. Hughes Christensen contacted epic to help them showcase Fast Max.

Sam Houston was a 19th century American statesman, politician, and soldier. Houston was a very important figure in the history of Texas, where he served as the President of the Republic of Texas, Senator for Texas after it joined the United States, and finally as governor. It may be hard to believe, but his story had never been fully told in a documentary, until release of Sam Houston - American Statesman, Soldier and Pioneer.

The project is the vision of Executive Producer and native Texan Denton Florian who began assembling the team late in 2005. To tell the story, over 30 hours of film and hundreds of photographs are being edited into a 3 hour production. Dr. Patrick Nolan, Director of the Sam Houston Memorial Museum in Huntsville, TX said, "The Sam Houston Project is the largest collection of data, images, video, documents, and historical information on Sam Houston anywhere in the world." The objective of this web site is to make as much of that information as possible accessible to the public, to educators, and to their students.
