In both 2D and 3D animation, a rapid sequence of images is displayed in order to create an illusion of movement. It is an optical illusion of motion due to the phenomenon of persistence of vision, and at epic we use a number of different tools to bring a still image or 3D model to life. Our most popular animation tool is Flash, but it is our production process that makes the magic happen.
